This has got to be the best
free HTML tutorial around. It covers all the
basics of design, tables frames and forms. It is
arranged as a set of easy to follow lessons with
plenty of examples to try out. Worth the download
time. Why the approval? Well, it got me off the
ground in webpage design. Those were the days (wistful
sigh).

This handy little gadget
when fired up can be used to check the color
code of any image or area of a webpage. It
can be used to find out the hexadecimal value
or RGB code for any color either by picking a
color or typing in its code. The hex value
can be pasted straight into your html coding.
Simple to use and a very useful tool.

This freeware zip
program will zip and unzip files into any
location you choose. It has an easy-to-use
interface with a comprehensive help file. It
also has the ability to make self-extracting
executables (.exe) from your zip files. It
can seem a little over-zealous in its desire
to make zip files and appears in just about
every right-click menu on your computer.
Still, its there when you need it.
